ABOUT ME

I am a published and exhibited self-taught photographer who has received recognition in several genres. Initially specialising in cityscape, architectural, landscape and long exposure photography, I have more recently focused on street photography (under the working name of Xav Beaumont).

In addition to featuring as the cover photo of the Photographer's Special print edition of London Time Out magazine (2016), I have been featured in several national photographic magazines and international street photoraphy publications, both in hard print and digital formats.

With two solo exhibitions under my belt (London 2015 & 2016), and having featured in the Gang of Four Street photography exhibition (London 2017), my work will also feature at the prestigious Galerie Catherine et Andre Hug in Paris in autumn 2021.

Photography Tuition - As a highly experienced and versatile photographer, I offer 1-1 mentoring (face to face or online) or tuition for small groups in the London area in the different photographic genres and techniques on display in my galleries. All tuition is tailored to reflect the specific needs, interests and prior knowledge levels of individual pupils.

Photography Talks - I have delivered a number of online and face to face talks, and am available to do online photography talks for camera clubs and photography forums.
